The "Identity" step of recording a new animal: species, a name given in the field and a photo (in French)

An animal recorded in the field

From the phone: identity, health, last sighting, photos. The record can be completed later.

Is a family looking for them?

On the record, the agent sees the lost pets of the same species reported in the area. Each alert opens in one tap, to compare its photos and reach its family.

Delta's care log, a black and white cat: sighting, trapping, neutering, identification and release, each dated (in French)

Their whole care log

Trapping, neutering, vaccination, vet visits, release on site, sightings. Each step is dated on the record.

The "Colonie du port" place with the animals attached to it (in French)

Colonies and feeding points

Attach each animal to its places. A photo of the place helps recognise it in the field.

The same registry at the town hall

What your agents record in the field appears on the town hall's portal. The portal gives the registry's figures: animals followed, neutering rate, new this month.

A printable registry

The care registry prints or exports to a spreadsheet. For your records and for your partners.

For the commune and its partners

The commune's agents keep the registry in the Animalert app, in the field. An association working with the commune can keep its own the same way. Managers invite their colleagues with a link and approve every access. The portal opens in a browser, with nothing to install.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Does the town hall need to install any software?

No. Your agents use the Animalert app on their phone, and your services open the portal in a browser.

What if a stray cat seems to have a family?

The agent marks it on the record. They also check the lost pets reported in the area, which the record shows, to reach its family.

Can an association keep the registry alongside the town?

Yes. An association working with the town keeps its registry in the Animalert app, the same way the town's agents do.

How do we give our agents access?

Managers invite their colleagues with a link and approve each access.

Can the registry be exported?

Yes. On the portal, the registry prints or exports as a spreadsheet, for your records and for your partners.

Does the registry only track cats?

It is built for stray and community cats. A record can also track a dog or an animal of another species.

Where is the registry's data hosted?

In Europe, in line with the GDPR. The town hall remains the owner of its registry.
