42 Angoulême
The 42 Angoulême campus backs Animalert on the technical-security side and hosts us for talks in front of its student community.
Our collaboration
Beyond the Paris campus, the 42 network spans several French cities. Angoulême is one of them, with an active campus life and a clear attention to impact projects led by its students or its partners.
Our collaboration moves on two main axes. On the technical side, students from the cybersecurity track audit Animalert's infrastructure on sensitive topics: Firestore rules, image storage, cloud functions. On the visibility side, the campus regularly hosts talks given by Animalert's founder in front of the student community, to share the project's behind-the-scenes and open the conversation on security, architecture and the non-profit model.
More recently, 42 Angoulême has also shared Animalert through its newsletter and on its social media. These are one-off shoutouts, and they matter for a young non-profit that does not have the means to reach beyond its own channels.
Joint initiatives
Pen tests by cybersecurity students
Security audits run by 42 students specialising in cybersecurity, focused on our Firestore rules, image storage and the most sensitive cloud functions. This is 42 Angoulême's angle, not the Paris campus.
On-campus talks
Animalert's founder regularly speaks in front of the 42 Angoulême student community to share the project, its technical choices and its non-profit model.
Newsletter and social-media features
42 Angoulême has shared Animalert through its newsletter and on its social media, giving the project occasional visibility with an audience we don't reach through our own channels.
