A year-long programme that turns a good idea into an organisation that lasts.
Our collaboration
Live for Good is a French foundation that spots, funds and mentors young social entrepreneurs. Its flagship Start for Good programme selects roughly fifty impact projects each year and runs them through a nine-month journey, with one-to-one mentoring concentrated over the first six months.
Animalert joined Start for Good in April 2026. In practice that means one-to-one mentoring with an entrepreneur who has already built a durable organisation, collective workshops on the non-profit business model, governance and fundraising, plus access to an alumni network that spans the whole social-economy ecosystem. In day-to-day use, what helps us most today is the regular exchange with the other founders of the cohort.
This support is decisive for us. It forces us to structure what was not yet structured, to measure our impact rigorously and to avoid the blind spots that often hit projects led by purely technical founders.

Monthly mentoring
One-on-one sessions with a seasoned social entrepreneur to challenge our trade-offs around governance, funding model and territorial rollout.
Collective workshops
Thematic workshops with the rest of the class. We work on impact measurement, public communication and partnership strategy.
Alumni network
Access to the hundreds of organisations that came through Start for Good, especially useful to find field relays and one-off expertise.
